At the Laboratory of Posturology, research is being carrying out regarding:
− comprehensive and integrated assessment, as well as analysis of body posture in statics
and movement with the DIERS formetric 4D motion optoelectronic system,
− body composition using the Tanita and Seca systems,
− body build and posture with the Zebris system,
− foot defects with the P-Walk system,
− tests and analyses of gait on the Zebris treadmill,
− neurokinesiological diagnosis of body posture (NDT Bobath, SI, INPP),
− body posture defects and scoliosis in connection with postural responses on the Amti, Biodex Balance System, Tecnobody ProKin platforms,
− spectral analyses of postural reactions with the Framiral Multitest Equilibre system (gold standard in the diagnosis and rehabilitation of postural disorders),
− postural defects and scoliosis in connection with postural and muscular tension and central
stabilisation (SEMG – Noraxon cord and wireless system, Tergumed systems),
− the significance of vestibulospinal, vestibulo-visual and vestibulo-oculomotor reflexes in
controlling the balance and postural stability in children with postural defects and scoliosis,
− postural defects and scoliosis in relation to body composition,
− body posture defects and scoliosis in connection with gait defects,
− body posture defects and scoliosis in connection with foot defects,
− body posture defects and scoliosis in connection with sensory integration (SI),
− postural defects and scoliosis, as well as neurodevelopmental delay according to INPP,
− body posture defects and scoliosis, as well as neurodevelopmental delay based on the
Tansley and Bender Visual-Motor Gestalt test,
− body posture in connection with visual refraction defects,
− body posture in connection with impaired spatial vision,
− body posture defects and scoliosis in connection with EEG of the brain,
− postural defects and scoliosis in connection with spectral analysis of variability regarding sinus rhythm,
− body posture defects and scoliosis in connection with vagal never tone (polyvagal theory),
− postural defects and scoliosis in connection with type of nervous system, temperament and personality,
− body posture defects and scoliosis in connection with resistance to stress,
− body posture defects and scoliosis in connection with sympathetic-parasympathetic balance,
− postural re-education of children with posture defects and scoliosis on the Biodex Balance System, Tecnobody ProKin and Framiral Multitest Equilibre platforms,
− application of the biofeedback method in postural re-education on platforms,
− scoliosis therapy with the FED system,
− postural re-education of people with neurological diseases using exoskeleton and Robotgait,
− assessing impact of SNP polymorphisms regarding selected genes on development of the
significance of neuroplasticity and CNS neurogenesis in the treatment of posture and scoliosis.
