Priority Areas of Scientific Development

Collegium Medicum of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce is a dynamically growing academic and research institution, where scientific research is not only the foundation of academic activity but, above all, a tool for real change in healthcare, rehabilitation, diagnostics, and prevention. In addition to numerous publication achievements, advanced research infrastructure, and extensive project experience, our greatest strength lies in our people—researchers who are ready to engage in ambitious, interdisciplinary, and international collaboration.

Below, we present selected research areas that we consider priority fields in terms of developmental potential and readiness for collaboration with external partners. Each area is represented by experienced scientists who lead research teams, develop innovative projects, and have access to unique resources—data, laboratories, technologies, and patient populations.

We outline not only the thematic scope and academic specialization of individual leaders, but also specific forms of collaboration that are of particular interest to us—from clinical and translational research, through the development of medical technologies and educational tools, to big data analysis and the implementation of patient-centered care systems.
