
IIEP: "Insertion of a Short Peripheral Cannula Under Ultrasound Guidance"
This training focuses on developing nurses' knowledge and skills in safe infusion and cannulation under ultrasound guidance, enhancing competencies through clinical simulations. Participants will gain practical knowledge and improve teamwork abilities within therapeutic teams. The training will be conducted in a hybrid format: 3 days online, 5 days in-person at UJK, totaling 58 teaching hours (20 hours of online lectures, 32 hours of on-site practical classes at the Simulation Center, and a 6-hour OSCE exam).

- 15 for academic staff of a foreign university
Participation requirements (mandatory):
- member of the teaching and/or research staff of a foreign university
- master’s degree in nursing or equivalent
- valid nursing license
- English proficiency at least B2
- voluntary declaration of participation
Preferential criteria (if applications exceed available spots):
- PhD degree – 3 points
- experience in conducting practical nursing education overe 3 years – 3 points
- English language proficiency above B2 – 5 points
motivation and justification for participation in the IIEP – 0–10 points

Documents required from accepted candidates:
- a certificate of employment in a teaching or research position at a foreign university
- a diploma confirming completion of master’s studies in nursing (or equivalent)
- the licence/right to practise nursing
- GDPR declarations and consent to data processing
- optionally - certificate confirming proficiency in English above B2 (only for non-English native speakers)
- optionally - a motivation letter in English
- optionally – a diploma confirming the award of the doctoral degree in the field of medical and health sciences, natural sciences or exact sciences
